Hallgrimsson: Iceland rocked England, but there's more to come

The Iceland co-coach Heimir Hallgrimsson says his side gained a psychological edge over the Three Lions and can continue to improve at Euro 2016

Heimir Hallgrimsson says Iceland's quick equaliser proved too big a psychological blow for England to recover from.

His team's dream Euro 2016 round-of-16 tie got off to the worst possible start when Wayne Rooney converted a penalty after just four minutes, but while Hallgrimsson said his team were shocked by the early concession, they coped a lot better with it than England managed when Ragnar Sigurdsson equalised less than two minutes later.

Kolbeinn Sigthorsson sealed the win when he scored after 18 minutes, but the co-coach believes it was his side's first goal which dealt a mental killer blow for the Three Lions.
