Roberto Firmino is an early doubt for Liverpool’s Champions League opener against Paris Saint-Germain, with the striker suffering an eye injury against Tottenham.
The Brazilian forward was back in Premier League action on Saturday after returning unscathed from international duty.
He was also among the goals against Spurs, with his effort proving to be the match-winner in a 2-1 victory for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
That effort helped to preserve Liverpool’s faultless start to the 2018-19 campaign, with maximum points taken from five fixtures.
Firmino was, however, unable to see the game out at Wembley Stadium.
