The Colombian and Chilean former chiefs face lifelong bans after the Ethics Committee of the world governing body concluded its investigation into the duo's activities.

FIFA's Ethics Committee has recommended lifelong bans from all football-related activity on Luis Bedoya and Sergio Jadue.

In December, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Bedoya and Jadue - both former CONMEBOL vice-presidents - had waived indictment and pleaded guilty to a two-count information charging them with racketeering conspiracy and wire fraud conspiracy.

The investigatory chamber of the Ethics Committee has now concluded its probe into the duo's activities, and a statement on Thursday recommended lifetime bans for the pair.
