FFA's Socceroos coach hunt is a disgrace, says Robbie Slater

The television pundit has called the governing body as a joke for having not announced a national team coach yet

Football personality Robbie Slater has slammed Football Federation Australia for failing to appoint a new Socceroos coach less than six months out from the World Cup in Russia.

The governing body has said a decision on Ange Postecoglou's replacement isn't likely until February, with Australia's next match not until the FIFA international window in March.

But Slater labelled the selection process, which involves former Socceroos stars Mark Schwarzer, Mark Bresciano and Stan Lazaridis, a disgrace and said it lacks transparency.
