The FAM will discuss with affiliates and teams over the Malaysia U23 team for the upcoming SEA Games and AFC qualifiers
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) will let the affiliates and the fans to decide on the selection of the Malaysia U23 team for the upcoming South-East Asia (SEA) Games and the AFC U23 qualifiers.
According to the secretary-general of the FAM, Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin, a meeting will be held next week to decide whether the teams would release their players to play for those tournaments or not.
In a statement released by the FAM, Hamidin said: “Due to the fact that these fixtures are not listed on FIFA’s Calendar, the teams are not obligated to release their players.
