Having been on the verge of moves to South Korea and Thailand last year, the 25-year-old has secured a return to Europe for the next two years
Pacos de Ferreira have confirmed the signing of ex-Adelaide United defender Dylan McGowan for the next two Primeira Liga seasons.
McGowan was unveiled by the Porto-based club on Tuesday and is set for a second European stint having previously been on the books of Hearts in Scotland.
According to Goal sources, the Australian centre-back was on the verge of joining Jeonbuk Motors or Buriram United in the lead-up to this season but a combination of red tape and Adelaide's reticence to let him go meant he stayed at Coopers Stadium for a third year.
