Dinamo Zagreb’s preparations for their Europa League clash with Tottenham have been thrown into disarray as coach Zoran Mamic has resigned after being sentenced to four years and eight months in prison.
Mamic and his brother Zdravko were found guilty on corruption charges in 2018.
Croatia's supreme court upheld the initial rulings on Monday, and Mamic tendered his resignation.
What was said?
"Although I don't feel guilty, I resign as I said before I would do if the sentence was confirmed," Mamic said in a statement on the club's official website.
"I wish all the good luck to the club.
