The American international scored a hat trick for his club for the first time since April 2014 and led the Sounders to three points on the road.
Seattle Sounders forward Clint Dempsey needed only 47 minutes to put in three goals in the Seattle Sounders' 3-1 victory Sunday over Orlando City.
It's Dempsey's first hat trick since bagging three goals for the United States against Cuba in the 2015 Gold Cup and his second hat trick for the Sounders after an April 5, 2014 trio against the rival Portland Timbers.
Orlando actually opened the scoring in the seventh minute, but Dempsey had the equalizer seven minutes later.
