Nigeria’s Aaron Samuel has ended his union with CSKA Moscow by mutual consent.
Samuel initially joined Viktor Goncharenko’s side on loan from the Chinese club Guangzhou R&F in 2016.
The Nigeria international made his move permanent after putting pen on paper in a four-and-a-half-year deal in January 2017.
And following his struggle to earn a place in the first team owing to fitness concerns, the VEB Arena outfit have announced that they have parted ways with the striker who spent last season on loan at Amkar Perm.
