Wilfried Zaha is delighted after winning the English Premier League Player of the Month for April following his impressive displays for Crystal Palace.
The Cote d'ivoire international scored four goals and made one assist to help Roy Hodgson’s men avoid relegation.
Zaha received the highest votes cast by a panel of experts, Premier League captains and fans to beat off competitions from Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen, Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling, Everton’s Jordan Pickford, Manchester United’s Paul Pogba and West Bromwich Albion’s Jake Livermore to scoop the prize.
This is the first time the winger will win the individual accolade and the first for a Palace player since Andrew Johnson in 2004.
