Their early-season winless streak extended to five games, the Crew's missed scoring chances has been a recurring theme.
MONTREAL— The Columbus Crew were left lamenting their lack of scoring touch once again on Saturday in a 2-0 defeat to the Montreal Impact at Olympic Stadium.
Before Hassoun Camara gave the Impact the lead early in the second half and Kyle Bekker sealed the victory for the home side in the second, the Crew’s attacking players misdirected several shots from good positions inside Montreal’s box.
Last season's MLS Cup finalists are now still without a win after five games and have only managed to score on three occasions.
