Colorado Rapids hand FC Dallas first home loss in over a year

Dominique Badji’s goal was the difference as the Rapids handed FC Dallas its first home loss since August 2015.

The Colorado Rapids came into Saturday’s contest against FC Dallas in a slump. Winless in four, the Rapids also had to contend with the fact the contest was taking place at Toyota Stadium, Dallas’ home field where the host had not lost since 2015.

So naturally, the Rapids managed a 1-0 victory.

Dominique Badji’s goal in the 52nd minute proved the difference in the contest as Rapids keeper Tim Howard made seven saves to preserve the clean sheet for Colorado.
