The Real Madrid attacker sent in the cross which led to Wales progressing to the quarter-finals of Euro 2016 and the coach was delighted to rely on him to make the difference
Wales coach Chris Coleman thanked the "little bit of brilliance" from Gareth Bale that ensured his side squeezed past Northern Ireland 1-0 to move into the Euro 2016 quarter-finals.
Bale's wicked cross was aiming for Hal Robson-Kanu, but the Wales attacker was beaten to it by Northern Ireland's Gareth McAuley, who turned it into his own net in the 75th minute as Michael O'Neill's men went crashing out, meaning Wales will face either Hungary or Belgium in the last eight.
