The Porto man turned out between the sticks for La Roja in their Euro 2016 warmup clash in Germany to set a new European international appearance record.
Casillas, who is currently Spain's second choice goalkeeper behind David de Gea, was level on 166 caps with former Latvia midfielder Vitalijs Astafjevs before facing South Korea.
