Calderon: Real Madrid probably cannot afford Pogba

The Spanish giant has either been priced out of a transfer for the Manchester United target or has been rejected by the player, according to the club's former president.

Real Madrid cannot afford to sign Paul Pogba as the Juventus midfielder nears a move to Manchester United, according to the club's former president, Ramon Calderon.

The France international is nearing a world-record move to United, the club he left in 2012.

Real was also linked with a bid for Pogba and Calderon believes that the Spanish giant has either been priced out of a move for the 23-year-old or been rejected by the player himself.
