Bradley Wright-Phillips set New York Red Bulls club record for MLS goals scored

The forward netted twice in the first half of Saturday's match to jump past Juan Pablo Angel into the top spot on the team's all-time list.

Bradley Wright-Phillips is now the top goal scored in the New York Red Bulls history, netting twice to jump past Juan Pablo Angel with his 58th and 59th goals for the club.

Wright-Phillips scored his first in the 22nd minutes, pulling his side level with Montreal within a minute of the Impact taking their first lead of the night.

That goal was enough to pull the striker level with Angel, but Wright-Phillips wasted little time take the top spot.
