Barcelona promises 'intense' transfer summer but stay quiet on Marquinhos talk

Club official Susana Monje remains tight-lipped over a move for the Paris Saint-Germain defender but admits that there will be a lot of activity around Camp Nou this year.

Barcelona is in for an "intense" summer when it comes to the transfer market, according to economic vice-president Susana Monje, who refused to shed light on a rumored move for Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos.

The Spanish side saw a two transfer window ban come to an end in January, allowing it to hand debuts to last year's signings, Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan.
