Azam v Triangle United Match Report, 15/09/2019

The Tanzania outfit is at risk of being knocked out of the continental competition after failing to win at home

Azam FC are staring at elimination from the Caf Confederation Cup after falling 1-0 at home against Triangle United on Sunday.

The Zimbabwe side went ahead in the 34th-minute through Ralph Kawondera to bag a vital away win.

The hosts came into the match under pressure to perform better following Yanga's 1-1 draw with Zesco United on Saturday in the Caf Champions League.

Other Tanzania representatives in the Caf competitions, Simba SC and Kinondoni Municipal Council (KMC), had already been eliminated and all hopes were on the Etienne Ndayiragije-led side.
