Ashanti Gold coach Svetislav Tanasijevic believes the progress of 23-time Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko has been helped by favours from referees.
The Miners' boss was speaking on the back of their 2-0 loss to the Porcupines on matchday four of the GFA Normalisation Committee Special Competition on Wednesday.
Midfielder Abdul Fatawu Safiu scored twice to claim all points for the Kumasi-based side in Kumasi.
“If Asante Kotoko is a big club, why are referees always helping them?" Tanasijevic said.
“We had a clear penalty he ignored.
"I extended an invitation to the referee into our dressing room just to observe how my boys were shedding tears, knowing he caused our loss.
