After having its second loss in 43 meetings to Mexico this past week, the U.S. Women's National Team was looking for a big win over Colombia in the CONCACAF W Gold Cup quarterfinal on Sunday.
The team got just that in the form of a 3-0 victory that sent it to the semifinal against Canada.
The U.S. opened the scoring early in the first half, finding the net in the 13th minute. Alex Morgan drew a penalty kick, which Lindsey Horan converted.
From there, they tacked on two more before the halftime whistle to head into the final 45 with a comfortable 3-0 lead.
