A busy day on the NFL trade market Tuesday increased the degree of difficulty for the Indianapolis Colts’ upcoming schedule.
The New York Jets completed a trade for disgruntled Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams in the late morning and the Buffalo Bills responded hours later with the addition of Cleveland Browns wideout Amari Cooper.
The Colts — who enter the week ranked 26th in pass defense (234.3 yards per game) — host Buffalo on Nov. 10 and travel to face the Jets on Nov. 17.
Indianapolis (3-3) faces four teams with winning records in the next six weeks, and the slate included some of the NFL’s most dangerous offensive weapons even before Tuesday’s trades were completed.
