INDIANAPOLIS — The first two positions Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay identified as draft targets last week came as no surprise.
Far and away, left tackle and defensive end are the biggest needs for the Colts.
The third position Irsay identified isn’t as obvious.
“I feel confident the way Chris (Ballard) goes about it, that there can be an edge rusher and a left tackle and even a corner that’s impactful, no question,” Irsay said. “Mostly through the draft.”
Cornerback might not seem like a pressing need at first glance.
The Colts waited out the free agent process for Xavier Rhodes and T.
