The Indianapolis Colts and running back Marlon Mack have agreed to try to find a trade for the veteran, IndyStar's Joel A. Erickson reported earlier this week.
Recent NFL trade history, however, suggests Colts fans shouldn't expect much in return, despite Mack rushing for 1,999 yards as the team's lead back in 2018 and '19. Mack tore his Achilles in last season's season opener and played just 13 snaps this season before being a healthy scratch vs. Tennessee on Sunday.
Forty-four players have been traded in-season since 2018, according to nfl.com's transactions; 30 of them returned a fifth-round draft pick or lower.
