INDIANAPOLIS — You want an athletic freak on your team? Look no further than Barkevious Mingo.
In the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine, Mingo stole the show, running a 4.58-second 40-yard dash (second among defensive ends), had a 37-inch vertical jump (second), had a 128.0-inch broad jump (tied for first) and ran the 3-cone drill in 6.84 seconds (first).
The Cleveland Browns certainly took notice, and selected Mingo with the sixth-overall pick a couple months later in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Since that time, the LSU product has taken a little time to adjust to the pro game.
