The Indianapolis Colts are trying to make solid personnel evaluations in order to cut their roster down to 53 players. Injury-prone running back Vick Ballard is one of the players at risk of being cut. The franchise knows Ballard can be a solid player but injuries have derailed his career. The Colts may be forced to cut Ballard if he cannot stay on the field over these next two weeks.
The Colts drafted Ballard in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, Ballard totaled 814 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns on 211 carries.
