INDIANAPOLIS — Joe Reitz became the latest Colts veteran to make an exit Tuesday, annoucing his retirement after nine seasons in the NFL.
Reitz, a Fishers native who played seven seasons in Indianapolis, made 44 starts and played at four different positions along the offensive line.
He was a go-to player for community events and was the team's nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award last season. Reitz also won the team's Ed Block Courage Award in 2015.
"I'm priviledged to have had the opportunity to coach Joe for five seasons here in Indianapolis," Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said in a statement.
