The Indianapolis Colts announced on Wednesday that two defensive backs: cornerback Marvell Tell and safety Rolan Milligan have opted out ahead of the 2020 season.
The pair joins linebacker Skai Moore among the three Colts players who have currently elected to sit out as a safety precaution because of the ongoing pandemic.
Tell’s loss at outside cornerback is a big one for the Colts secondary. After an encouraging rookie campaign in 2019, the 2nd-year cornerback was expected to seriously challenge veteran Xavier Rhodes for the starting job opposite of Rock Ya-Sin.
