INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts have gotten good news about one of Philip Rivers’ key weapons this week and ended up getting bad news on another.
Wide receiver Parris Campbell is fully healthy after suffering a concussion in a car accident last week, but tight end Trey Burton will likely miss multiple games due to a calf strain suffered in the Colts’ final padded practice of training camp last Saturday.
Burton had been one of Rivers’ favorite targets in training camp.
“It’s hard to really get a firm gauge, but I think he’ll miss the first couple of weeks, for sure,” Reich said.
