INDIANAPOLIS — An NFL jersey sales report released by Indy-based Lids this week revealed that Tom Brady and Tampa Bay Buccaneers jerseys were the top-selling in Indiana.

The news from the sports retailer, with more than 2,000 stores nationwide, prompted outrage from Colts fans, who through the years have had a bitter loathing for the Patriots-turned-Buccaneers quarterback. Many alleged the report was bogus.
"I refuse to believe my state of Indiana has ever once purchased a Tom Brady jersey for any reason other than to burn it for a ritual in order to make Brady disappear," Waylon posted on Twitter.
