Jonathan Taylor is feeling better, but the Indianapolis Colts running back still hasn’t been able to practice this week.
Taylor suffered what’s been reported as a mild high-ankle sprain during the fourth quarter of last week’s 27-24 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He said the injury is not as severe as some recent ankle issues he’s faced, but it will still be a process to get back onto the field.
Ankle injuries are particularly challenging for running backs and Taylor said there are several benchmarks he must reach to know he’s ready to play Sunday at the Jacksonville Jaguars (0-4).
