Source: Freeman likely to start at QB for Colts

Josh Freeman, who hasn't thrown a pass in the NFL in over two years, will likely start for the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Freeman, Ryan Lindley and Stephen Morris had been vying for the nod after Andrew Luck was ruled out for a seventh straight game with a lacerated kidney and a partially torn abdominal muscle.

Matt Hasselbeck won't play due to an injured throwing shoulder, and third-stringer Charlie Whitehurst landed on injured reserve Monday with a hamstring injury.
