With the practice squad finalized, the Indianapolis Colts are making a change to the unit.
The Colts announced Tuesday that they have added cornerback Lenzy Pipkins back to the roster, but this time he will be on the scout team. To make the move happen, Indianapolis is releasing D.J. White — who was on the practice squad.
The Colts traded for Pipkins, who was a member of the Green Bay Packers, back on August 26 in exchange for Antonio Morrison. The Colts selected Morrison out of Florida with the 126th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Pipkins played 12 games during his rookie season with the Packers, tacking on 17 tackles — 13 solo — and one pass defensed.
