The Colts added a 4th quarterback to their roster, and while he has the talent to make it as a decent NFL backup, his off-the-field issues are worrisome.
Kelly was a pretty good quarterback in his college days at Ole Miss, but his troubles away from the football field have derailed his career. Kelly was drafted by the Denver Broncos with the last pick of the 2017 NFL Draft. He did not start a single game, first injuring his wrist and missing his rookie season, then was released after an altercation following former teammate Von Miller’s Halloween party, where Kelly was arrested on suspicion of first-degree criminal trespassing.
