The Indianapolis Colts today signed defensive tackle Trevon Coley to the active roster and released defensive tackle Jihad Ward from the active roster in the corresponding roster move.
Defensive tackle Trevon Coley was signed off the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. He was originally signed with the Ravens after going undrafted out of Florida Atlantic in the 2016 NFL Draft. Coley has had stints at Washington and at the Browns before returning to the Ravens on their practice squad.
Coley, 6’1 310lbs, brings much-needed size to the Colts defensive front.
