Insiders Zak Keefer and Joel Erickson look back at the Colts' playoff loss and look ahead to the offseason. Clark Wade, Clark.Wade@Indystar.com
ATLANTA — A young Indianapolis defense, full of question marks at the beginning of the season, surprised just about everybody.
Under the watchful eye of Matt Eberflus, a Colts defense that hadn’t finished higher than 19th in the NFL in points allowed since the 2013 season finished in the top 10 and gave up fewer points than any other/ defense in the league in the final 10 weeks.
All with a lineup of players who were relatively unknown at the beginning of the season.
