The Indianapolis Colts made a request to speak to quarterback Deshaun Watson that was declined by the Houston Texans, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The report indicated that the Texans turned down the request because they aren't comfortable trading Watson within the division.
The Houston Chronicle's John McClain is reporting that Watson, who has a no-trade clause in his four-year $156-million contract, is only interested in being moved to Carolina or New Orleans. He is meeting with both teams Monday night, according to Pro Football Network’s Aaron Wilson.
Wilson also reported that Watson will address allegations of sexual misconduct from 22 different women during a deposition Tuesday as part of a civil suit.
