The Indianapolis Colts have added another veteran to their offensive line mix. The team signed former Panthers guard Chris Reed on Thursday, according to the NFL Network.
Reed, who will be 29 at the start of the 2021 season, started 14 games at guard for Carolina. He entered the NFL in 2015 as an undrafted free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars. During his six-year career, Reed has played in 47 games with 23 starts.
Last season was Reed's first extended chance to start, and according to Pro Football Focus, was responsible just one sack allowed in 892 snaps.
