According to multiple sources, the Indianapolis Colts are signing former UFL St. Louis Battlehawks interior offensive lineman Mike Panasiuk.
Per United Football Media, Panasiuk started 10 games for the Battlehawks this season at center, earning All-UFL honors. He’s a former converted All-Big Ten defensive lineman for the Michigan State Spartans. He previously had an NFL stint with the Carolina Panthers.
Panasiuk reportedly worked out for the Denver Broncos earlier this week.
The Colts have some interior offensive lineman who are a bit banged up from Saturday’s win, including rookie Tanor Bortolini and Josh Sills, so Panasiuk could be a late pickup to get the team depth-wise through their final road joint training camp practices and preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
