According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz is planning on ‘resting and rehabbing’ his injured foot the next few days before potentially electing for surgery—if necessary:
#Colts QB Carson Wentz plans to try to rest and rehab his foot injury over the next few days, source said, rather than have immediate surgery. If all goes well, Week 1 is in play. If it doesn’t improve, the answer may be surgery.

Now, this situation remains entirely fluid, and if Wentz’s injured foot doesn’t show some improvement through rest and rehab, then surgery is presumably the next option.
