The Indianapolis Colts have another hole on the coaching staff to fill. A couple days after coach Frank Reich promoted Marcus Brady to offensive coordinator when Nick Sirianni accepted the head coaching job in Philadelphia, he and defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus will now have to find a new cornerbacks coach.
First reported by Michael Lombardi, Colts defensive backs/cornerbacks coach Jonathan Gannon is heading to Philadelphia to become Sirianni's defensive coordinator.
Gannon spent three years in Indianapolis coaching under Eberflus and over the past couple of weeks became a sought-after defensive coordinator candidate, reportedly drawing interest from Atlanta and the Los Angeles Rams.
