LSU offensive lineman La'El Collins was undrafted, though he was a first round talent. Because of that, there was the unprecedented situation of a first round-caliber player making it through all seven rounds without getting selected and therefore being free to choose his team - and based on fit and not so much money, since there's not a ton of room for negotiation on the rookie deals.
Collins ended up signing with the Dallas Cowboys, joining the league's best offensive line, but before that happened many wondered if he would end up with the Colts.
