INDIANAPOLIS — It's the most important question of the offseason, but Frank Reich never asked it during an interview that reportedly lasted nearly 10 hours with Colts general manager Chris Ballard last week.
In fact, it was Ballard who eventually had to broach the topic as the conversation came to an end.
He gave the man who became Indianapolis' 10th full-time head coach the same Andrew Luck update he'd offered to fans and media two days earlier. And Reich didn't flinch.
It was yet another moment — among many — that helped convince Ballard after the debacle of the Josh McDaniels courtship he'd finally found the right man to lead his team.
