Let's be clear, it was a cheap shot and a flop by Colts tight end Jack Doyle but Baltimore safety DeShon Elliott threatened -- and has previously done -- worse to Doyle.
With the Colts facing second-and-20 with 40 seconds remaining in Monday's game against the Ravens, Zach Pascal was tackled after a 2-yard reception. Doyle pushed cornerback Tavon Young's head into the ground at the end of the play and when Young shoved Doyle, let's say he seemed to be off-balance given the fall he took. But the officials only saw Young retaliate, drawing a 15-yard personal foul penalty and turning third-and-18 into a first down.
