It wasn’t always pretty (or riveting football for that matter), but the injury depleted Indianapolis Colts found a way to grind out a divisional road win against the Tennessee Titans, 20-17, on Sunday.
Aside from his ill-advised interception early in the first quarter, Joe Flacco was once again largely good, showing great command of the Colts offense, and knowing when and where to place proper touch on his passes. He finished the afternoon 22 of 38 (57.9%) for 189 total passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and an interception. His two touchdown passes were things of beauty, as he hit a ‘fade’ to a diving Josh Downs for a 22-yard touchdown pass on the Colts’ opening drive, and later connected on a lofty 10-yard ‘jumpball’ to Michael Pittman Jr.
