Not only is Peyton Manning being enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2021 on Aug. 8 in Canton, Ohio, he also has a case for the greatest quarterback of all time.
To be considered one of the best to ever do it requires a village, and Manning wants everyone who was along for the ride to understand that they, too, have a place in football lore alongside him.
“I think the nicest thing about going into the Pro Football Hall of Fame is you go in and you take a lot of people with you,” Manning said Wednesday as he reflected on his career during a Hall of Fame media Zoom call.
