Call it karma, fate, destiny, or just plain bad luck, but just as the New England Patriots have hoisted their latest Lombardi Trophy, two key Indianapolis Colts involved in the initial reporting of the ‘Deflate-Gate’ controversy have now been let go.
After the two teams squared off in their controversial 2014 AFC Championship Game matchup, both franchises have gone in completely opposite directions.
The Patriots have won two of the league’s last three Super Bowls, while the Colts just finished at 8-8 again–failing to make the playoffs for a consecutive season.
