INDIANAPOLIS -- The NFL’s new rule of moving touchbacks after a kickoff to the 25-yard line evidently won’t stop Indianapolis Colts kicker Pat McAfee from launching the ball into the end zone next season.
McAfee tweeted earlier this week that he doesn’t plan to change his kicking approach even though teams will get the ball at the 25-yard line rather than the 20 on touchbacks after kickoffs.
Only a 1% better chance of scoring from 25 than from 20.. From a strategy point.. Imma bat a 1000 on touchbacks this year #ColtsNation

McAfee had the highest touchback percentage on kickoffs last season at 90.
