INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts aren’t waiting until free agency or the NFL draft to address their lack of a pass rush.
The team pounced on Canadian Football League free agent Alex Bazzie, signing him to a contract today.
Bazzie was granted his release earlier today from the BC Lions, permitting him to sign with an NFL club. Bazzie, who played college football at Marshall, was tied for fourth in the CFL last season with 11 sacks.
But despite his success north of the border, Bazzie will have to battle through his lack of size in the NFL.
