Green Bay Packers quarterback Malik Willis is set to make his fourth career start in Sunday’s home opener against the Indianapolis Colts at Lambeau Field.
Two weeks ago, the Packers traded a 2025 seventh-round draft pick to Tennessee in exchange for Willis. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters on Monday Willis will start Sunday if Jordan Love (knee) does not get cleared to play. The Packers franchise quarterback is expected to be sidelined for the next three to six weeks after suffering an MCL sprain in his left knee during the closing seconds of the Packers season opener loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in São Paulo, Brazil.
