NFL Notes: Bills, Colts, Eagles, Ravens

Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports the Eagles attempted to trade up for RB Dalvin Cook in the second round. However, it was the Vikings who were able to secure a trade up the board to get the Florida State produce.

The Eagles waited until round four to take RB Donnel Pumphrey.

McLane mentions that veteran RB Ryan Mathews will likely end up being a roster cut for the Eagles, so they can afford to sign their draft picks.

“Ryan Mathews is on this team,” Roseman said of his status with the team.
